About Sweet Thunder | Lee Arnott – Sweet Thunder ProductionsIMG_0140

I am a Videographer/Editor/Filmmaker residing and working in Historic Downtown Gardiner. When I think of my video productions, whether it be a Maine destination wedding video, a step by step instructional video, a captivating documentary, a Maine concert, or a marketing business web video, my thought process is constant: artistic, distinctive, compelling and informative – all the elements I would desire if I hired a professional videographer.

I approach each individual production as a unique opportunity to create remarkable, high quality videos and DVD’s based on my client’s requests and requirements. I meet with each client for an initial consultation. I value their input and insight, and a working relationship is born: I listen, I learn, and then I produce. My quiet method when filming is not to interfere with an event or my surroundings, but to remain unobtrusive – capturing what is unfolding before me in a natural, seemingly effortless flow. Composition, technique, and clarity are always in the forefront.

Keeping my video productions affordable for my clients is my priority, without compromising the image, audio and quality. I film and edit each of Sweet Thunder’s productions. My video work takes me to all areas in and around Maine, from the lovely Boothbay Harbor Region, to picturesque Camden; the vibrant Bath/Brunswick region, Greater Portland,  Augusta, Waterville, Bangor, Southern Maine and beyond.

In my spare time I produce documentaries and television shows on subjects and issues important to me. My work has been aired on Lincoln County Television and Boothbay Region Community Television. In 2007 I received an Honorable Mention from the National Hometown Video Awards on behalf of my video work for Lincoln County Animal Shelter.

In 1994 I received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mass Communications with a Concentration in Film from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts, and have continued perfecting my craft by attending various multimedia workshops at the Maine Media Workshops in Rockport, Maine.

I look forward to continuing my work and passion in this wonderful State of Maine, and formulating new working relationships with new clients, while cherishing those already established. As always, I will be in and around Maine capturing the uniqueness in everyone and everything… – Lee Arnott, 2012
